Energy Reports Scotland

Scotland now has a similar scheme to England and Wales imposed on it when dealing with buying and selling domestic properties. However, there is more to do and report. The 'Home Report' is Scotland's equivalent of a Home Information Pack or HIP.

The Energy Report forms part of Home Reports and gives details of a property’s energy efficiency rating and any potential environmental impact from carbon dioxide emissions. Energy Reports will highlight methods of improving energy efficiency and reducing fuel costs. Any potential buyer can then use the details and make an informed decision based on ‘Green Issues’

For more information on Energy Reports Scotland I think a visit to this link would be very helpful for home sellers and buyers alike
